Voldex, an innovative video game studio focused on user-generated-content, has closed the Series A investment round led by a16z. Among other investors are Dune Ventures, Makers Fund, and Lalotte Ventures. The fresh funding will allow Voldex to continue to build out its team, support existing games and acquire UGC games from today’s best and brightest game creators.

Spatial Labs, a web3 infrastructure firm focused on improving metaverse and commerce, has announced the closure of the $10M seed funding round led by Blockchain Capital. Marcy Venture Partners, the venture firm co-founded by rapper Jay-Z, has also participated in the investment. The firm has launched its first product called LNQ, a chip that uses Polygon's blockchain technology to authenticate products and create "digital twins," virtual copies of physical objects.
