so, the next question is if i am an ai researcher looking to launch my token to possibly get funding, would i:

1) adopt a community pf token and try to incorporate utility into it (they must first be willing to send me supply)
2) create my own token on pumpfun and try incorporate utility into it
3) create my own token on virtuals with in built utility and open fair launch concept like pumpfun

what would you choose?

the downside for (3) is that its on base and you'll still need to create a wormhole counterpart to get bids from sol

im not an expert in ai and i don't claim to be, i guess it also depends on the type of ai the researchers are doing

lastly, option (4) launch on pumpfun and immediately grift for quick 6 figs in funding

if i'm lazy and refuse to take responsibility for the tokens, i'll go for (1) and infinitely delay the incorporation while i sell my supply

2,3,4 i have to take responsibility because i'm staking my reputation in creating the token

which option would you choose?

a lot of other things i didn't factor in, but these are my current baseline thoughts that are overly simplified

probably will summarise everything into a piece so its easier to consume

tg can be a bit messy but its where i like to just mumble

i'm a researcher, i just want to focus on research, and i want funding

i do not want to spend too much time brainstorming on how to launch and would want to reduce complexities

not worried about price of my token, i worry about my research

anyw i think folks buying here at 60m are just betting that marc will continue engaging and "shilling" ai16z, pretty risky upside cause if he stops its ogre

the difference in performance between ai tokens that have someone to champion and push vs not having is slowly starting to show

visible in the charts rn cause most of the devs/creators aren't interested in doing so or are just not as vocal and/or influential

if sol continues to perform, fundamental betas remain to be jto and jup imo

might not be what the market likes currently, but i think they get forcefully repriced upwards, just might not be as much as memes

the thing is tho, with ai memes coming up and talks of sentient memes vamping static memes there comes the risk of your sol representative memes underperforming

either that or you get lost in deciding which meme to long in the dilution

a safer but likely lower return trade with lesser decision paralysis would be jto and jup

probably better for size chads as well
