usually price goes up first then narrative follows

when you're able to recognise a narrative even before price goes up that is when you win

ofc, you won't get it right everytime because no one has a 100% hit rate

as long as your pnl is green youre already doing better than 80% of trench warriors

i know a guy that buys coins on pf and sits on them for MONTHS even tho they didnt manage to migrate

the coins eventually migrated months later and ended up running 8 figs and he cashed out high 6 figs pnl

same guy that sat on skbdi from 200k to 50m without touching his bags

he is not wrong, he is early

all these great traders with different styles that you won't ever see on ct

because they usually aren't trying to engagement farm or flex their pnls

just silently making bank, avoiding limelight

everyday i try to learn from these people as i emulate, take what works for me, and leave the rest

sort of like learning various martial art techniques and then creating a personalised style that works for you that incorporates multiple different techniques of others because everyone trades differently/has a different edge

what works for someone might not work for you

find that style of yours and if it works, stick to it

fwiw, wallet tracking blindly is the most -ev thing you can do and im saying this because a lot of people ask me what wallets i track or for my wallet to track

1. you wont learn by blindly following
2. you wont understand why the person is entering the trade, TA? narrative? insider info?
3. you wont know that person's plan
4. you wont have the same conviction as the person
5. a lot of these wallets you track KNOW you are tracking and will rinse you just like how many KOLs do w their copy traders

only a very small handful of people can successfully profit off wallet tracking, but even then they have a very sophisticated system behind the tracking

this applies even in the trenches

most are unwilling to hold as they can't stomach the early volatility and uncertainty aka the 'early curse'

most are too eager to hit the next 100x and end up being very trigger happy on a lot of pf tokens, which leads to death by a thousand cuts or in this case rugs

be selective in firing your chips and learn how to hold good tokens

the road to 100x is filled with multiple drawdowns

if you don't learn to hold you'll never see the 100x you want
