i remember reading an old article on ct describing how the market has been rewarding wrong takes and a lot of us have carried that same mentality thinking that we were right since we were rewarded

but in fact a lot of folks will eventually be punished

nearest examples being

xxx is consensus now, this must be top
xxx has the lowest sentiment, this must be bottom

in the past, we were actually rewarded by taking trades like these, so most people actually do carry forward these kinds of reasoning

but i think we will eventually run out of chances to be wrong and make money

can't blame ourselves because we got pavlov-ed from how the market worked previously and we simply try to repeat what worked to make money again and again

just can't be too comfortable w the conditioning and assume status quo moving forward

then again, who is to say what reasonings are right or wrong

since its always price <> narrative

you are always wrong until the price goes up and suddenly you are right

very interesting because the next auction goes for almost 7 figs

clear to see that hypurr tokens are having a very hard time graduating as projects teams are consistently outbidding in the auctions

the higher auction prices go, the higher the bonding price goes for hypurr tokens too

it gets interesting

1) the subset of participants that need to hypergamble will continue doing so and will play within the given range before bonding -> trenches will adapt

2) if listing price gets too high for project teams to bid, it is possible that hypurr pooled TVL can win if its hot enough

3) auction prices can serve as a signal of froth, similar to what we've seen in DA last cycle

if/when projects are willing to shell out mid 7 figs to get listed

the mechanism is designed to combat dilution and is working as intended, so will this deter gamblers and kill hl trenches?
