feels like the market was forced to price in a lot of upcoming catalysts for hype through all the hard shilling

to the point when actual events happen there isn't much of a reaction anymore, because it is "suppose to happen"

happen = nothing
don't happen = downside risk

put this into consideration for all the other catalysts provided

anyw, staking effects take time to play out and i think hype needs more time

in the meantime, sitting comfy in hype eco top performers (which happens to be utility)

personally won't be staking anything that has unlock periods this late in the cycle

chalk it up to luna ptsd

i will be a net seller in 2025

lots of ai tokens pumping rn and imo most are knee jerk

don't be fooled into raising your targets for most of them because i don't think some of them should be pumping at all

at this point, the winners have already been chosen whether you like it or not

statistically you're better off buying winners than praying for the next ai16z, zerebro, aixbt, etc.

the next best time to strike is during the next mindless money phase on the new generation of ai projects when things are heated once again

whatever knee jerk ai projects you're buying now will eventually fade just like how wave 1 and 2 ancestors did

but ofc there will always be exceptions

just don't forget

because i hate to see good people lose

at this stage i also believe that its very hard to displace current leaders, even if you think the tech or content is better

targets like "xxx will flip ai16z" is honestly unlikely

leaders serve as the lid to a vertical or subsector and while it is possible to flip, a very very strong case is needed (eg. goat remained stale since day 1)

with every next iteration the valuation gets lower (wif > popcat > fwog > ...), or what we call death spiral

if you want to try catching a new leader, then its better to look at undiscovered subsectors instead of ones with existing lids
