just as how citibank almost took the global financial system w it during the global financial crisis, so will Ethereum collapse the entire DeFi space should the DeFi space rely too heavily on it

as Ethereum gains traction and more projects build on it, it can possibly overload just as how a computer's CPU overloads

recently we've seen Ethereum already running into some temporary finality stoppages with investigations still ongoing

this is not bear post on Ethereum, but a food for thought that if we want the DeFi space to flourish healthily in the future, we should welcome and encourage more competitors chains instead
