to me friend tech is basically influencers launching their own nft projects through a thirdparty platform (fully simplified way, no hassle, easy onboarding)
own a share -> access to influencer
rn its all griptoe influencers but when if this function moves towards celebrities, say taylor swift joining friend tech to be able to interact more w her friends through private access
1) fuss free no hassle launch "nft project"
2) earns royalties on share trading
3) fans get access to chat w swift
cons tho
1) more features required other than just being able to access private chat
2) need a MAJOR UI/UX improvement
3) dumb it down further + shouldn't need to top up eth before being able to use the platform
4) allow for customizability for influencers in what they want to reward their shareholders w?
ofc all these are on top of the most obvious function which is betting on the growth of influencers and earning $ on it
far far future for these to occur and we're still in the early stages of socialfi
does friendtech need a token? idt they need it and it shouldnt be their focus rn because they should be working on their UI/UX and privacy policy (lol) + eth is working fine rn
however i do see why they will go for a token tho, changing every transaction on the platform to be dealt in their native token to retain value in the ecosystem + damp on retail (yesser)
edit: for bigger adoption i think the price curve needs to be gentler to allow for more participants per share level
i think rn the steep curve is mainly to juice out fees/rev + its euphoric for the limited pvp investors in the space rn to see "outsized" returns as compared to the rather red/boring market

still hard capped by the bonding curve imo
after a certain number of holders the share price gets too ridiculous disincentivising newer people buying in
plus imo the people from outside ct coming in rn are mostly here to juice the trend
if i’m alr famous why not just sign up and get more $ instantly
think most are not here to genuinely engage w fans or provide some form of privilege to shareholders -> after some periods people are tired of holding/trading w no returns -> pvp selling and things slowly die down (until the platform improves)
