Here's a TLDR-ELI5 on Eigen, and an affordable way to position yourself to restake your stETH, rETH or cbETH within minutes of the opening:

Basically allowing those with staked ETH to further participate in securing, and providing liquidity for new dApps.
Staked ETH is known for the security consensus it provides to Ethereum, and besides the staked yield you obtain, you can get more rewards by participating in these new dApps built using Eigenlayer.
How to pay no to little gas, swapping ETH to any of the eth supported, and then finally restaking?
1) Download Rainmaker wallet on your phone (rainmaker.nyc). It's a defi wallet
2) Sign up for an account, and enter the invite code EIGENLAYER to join their beta
3) Create a new wallet, the private key page is just an additional password to secure your account
4) This is your own self-custodial wallet, transfer ETH inside
5) go to RocketX to make a low fee/low gas swap to cbETH or rETH.
6) Then, in Rainmaker, go to app.eigenlayer.xyz
7) follow through with the staking process, it would be gasless as it is sponsored by eigenlayer. You literally save about $40-50 in gas fees!
Less than 12 hours to go, position yourself well!
