Paradigm on Blast:
"Paradigm think the announcement this week crossed lines in both messaging and execution. For example, we don’t agree with the decision to launch the bridge before the L2, or not to allow withdrawals for three months, since we think it sets a bad precedent for other projects. We also think much of the marketing cheapens the work of a serious team"

[Reflections]
did some reflections on my sizing last night
i've been trading crypto for almost 2 years. although i've learned plenty and have improved/adapted my trading strategies, i realised one aspect remained constant - sizing.
i've learned to remove emotions from trades by trading in a size that doesn't matter to me (varies from person to person). it's good! it worked well. i am able to trade more objectively.
here's the problem, this size isn't going to get me anywhere. while it is comfortable (because it doesn't matter), it is growing my port at an extremely slow rate. even more so now that my portfolio size has increased over the years, while my sizing remains the same. my % of port per trade is slowly decreasing! (i'll admit its not a bad problem to have)
i frequently compare the size i'm trading to the simple necessities i could get irl, like maybe a bowl of noodles or a drink. this makes me uncomfortable in increasing size, because what if i lose a week's worth of meal expenses in one trade? i believe having a stable fiat farm will help this scenario, which is something i am still lacking as a student.
importantly, it is always best to take on more risks early in the cycle while derisking as the cycle moves. it should be the eventual goal of a trader to eventually size up as well as he/she becomes more confident in trading.
so here's my conclusion:
if you're just starting out in learning how to trade, its best to trade with a size that is insignificant enough to not cloud your judgement w emotions.
after which, i believe the sweet spot for sizing is somewhere between insignificant and slightly uncomfortable. discipline and sticking to your trade setups become v important here. growth never takes place in comfort zones. as you get comfortable w the new size, slowly size up again, finding the sweet spot between the (new) insignificant and slightly uncomfortable.

Somewhere in the middle."
time to upsize, let's see how it goes!

Shrapnel
it is possible that the supposed Nov ‘24 unlock will happen on April’24 instead
doesn’t change the thesis, but brings forward the exit plan

Remember how the Shrapnel token launched the other week?
Nah fam, turns out TGE was almost a YEAR ago
It's just that, u know, the tokens were on a private subnet w no bridge so they weren't tradeable...
Given that 1 yr after TGE supply TRIPLES in 4mths…

finally aped into $CHEX
was lazy to enter a position because it was so hard to access, but if i had bought it then, would've been up >70%
you can only purchase it through defibox (EOS chain). i used anchor wallet and funded it w EOS from kucoin.
why do i still think there is room to run?
other than the thesis that frog shared (good credentials imo esp w MAS), there are only 180 holders rn. despite him sharing the alfa >10 days ago, not many users have taken action to purchase it yet. hence, when it transitions to an EVM token is when EL will come in.
a buy and forget kind of play due to its inaccessibility (for now). looking forward to product release, marketing efforts starting, and EVM transition.
will consider buying a second clip since the edge is so clear here. people are lazy. feels like i can afford to size up on this sleeper trade.

Let's get back to the basics with a sleeper:
$CHEX - $13M FDV
- RWA issuance
- MAS licenced (most exchanges can't even get this)
- Raised $10M
- Deflationary tokenomics
- Supply entirely diluted on the market
- Stacked team of 25 people
- Client partnerships…

By popular request, you can now long or short $USTC with up to 10x leverage on Hyperliquid.
the speed at which HL is delivering is p insane imo
my team resolves my tickets within the hour too whenever i have questions regarding HL
had a chat w my colleagues regarding HL today as well
if you dh the time to farm volume, at least provide some LP to earn points
pretty sure this will be a banger in the coming cycle
been farming since august 🫡
mandatory ref shill for 4% off trading fees:

either i got lucky getting in an hour early or there is a huge whale following my channel (gm)
big buys came in for CHEX on ETH
weirdly enough CHEX on EOS remains stagnant
but i'm sure we'll be able to bridge over eventually and trade 'em
idt you can arbitrage rn, but if you want cheaper CHEX then you'll have to buy it through EOS
still early on CHEX 🫡

a bridge for EOS CHEX holders to bridge over to ETH will be available soon, probably in December
the pump we just saw on CHEX/ETH is due to whales being lazy to buy on EOS and just ape-ing through eth instead
so,
1. you KNOW that there will be a bridge eventually to bridge your CHEX from EOS -> ETH
2. the price disparity between CHEX/EOS and CHEX/ETH sits at >60% rn and imo likely to further increase from here
what's your move here?

CHEX
discount window has closed
CHEX/EOS has caught up in price, making it the easiest +60% ever
people realised the price disparity and started buying through EOS
i loaded my 2nd clip in as well to size up on the trade
you had a few hours to get in, hope you did 🤝🏼

Currently, the tokens listed on Binance for futures but not for spot include KAS, BSV, PYTH, BONK, ORBS, BIGTIME, TOKENFI, and ETHW, which have become a new phenomenon in recent Binance listings. Analysis pointed out that the core reason is that this can earn fees without taking on excessive responsibilities. Contract users have a strong tolerance for ups and downs, while spot users will criticize the price drop.
There are also futures like Blur that have been alive for a long time, then the spot launched. After the long-short game, the strength of the token will be tested. The launch of the future is also simpler than the spot and does not involve issues such as holding the token or technical matching. It is expected that Binance will continue to operate a similar model in the future. .
