nearly got scammed/drained

story:
was approached by a ct profile @weberjon_eth to discuss a freelance crypto role. he sent a link to a conference call app called Vortax. the company's twitter profile and website looked really legit. as i was being extremely careful, i went to dig out more info on the company.

TURNS OUT its a scam that will drain you once you download and run the set up.

some personal thoughts on LBPs and how to play them

say you're interested in project A and want to participate in it's LBP

LBPs typically last for 72 hours, so forget buying on the first day and let price discovery happen first to find a bottom

it is also a good way to gauge the popularity of the project

the second day is where you look for entries

the last day will be the day where people start fomo-ing in after realising that the price isn't dipping anymore, usually leading to a pump in price before deadline/token cap

also understandable as people do not want to buy into a LBP that doesn't sell out, hence waiting til 80% - 90% filled status before apeing

this is what i've noticed for hyped LBPs like INS, VEC, CAD, and TRESTLE so far
