just wanted to share this example (with permission from @DroneKilzer )

this is emotional trading right here, opening new positions to immediately try recover losses and also panic closing

what’s more is that opening new positions in an unstable market aka now when btc is dumping and bouncing around will only cause more loss 90% of the time

it’s really unsafe to trade.

i want to thank @DroneKilzer for allowing me to share his example that just happened 10 minutes ago

and i hope you guys can learn from his mistakes (and mine when i first started as well)

entries and exits will be quick, so I won't be sending every trade here in the group

keep your stops tight below support or above resistance and only enter when price is near either of these zones

pretty convinced of the support trendline here

now it has to hit the resistance trendline once more for validation

edit: fully closed @ 48%

seems to have broken out of the triangle,

entry on the retest of 33.6k with SL at 33.4k (very tight due to volatility)

i wouldn't say this is the actual breakout, the full triangle might not have been completed yet, hence the possibility that it might just dump back down to support

managed to scalp a short here as i wasn’t fully convinced of a breakout

full close @ 29.05%

as the pattern breakout is not in sync with the trend,

it could possibly be a fake out,

but an entry on retest with tight SL is always okay ✅

alternatively,

this could be something that we're looking at

ascending triangle

this would be highly likely if btc rejects from 33750

so the triangle is still in the midst of completion

retest on symm triangle and possible ascending triangle gives bias to upwards movement

SL is tight so risk to reward ratio is still very viable
