vista being dubbed the pumpfun of eth is interesting from what im hearing, a lot of the advertised functions aren't working properly yet, but people are still frontrunning in repricing matter of time before eth whales attempt to launch a memecoin(s) to bring…
i top aped a small bag of $vista

took my time to dd abit and missed buying much lower

regardless i think if this actually works out the r/r here would still be decent to punt

just a small bag because of the market conditions, but i want some form of exposure if this actually runs

i'm thinking a repeat of utility szn to revive eth similar to unibot era

talk about whitepaper red flags > it's moontime baby! https://fxtwitter.com/ethervista/status/1829925950558998664
tldr; pumpfun but part of revenue goes to buying and burning $vista to pump the price

if up, up fast, but down only when activity fails to sustain due to eth sentiments and jeets being priced out by gas fees
think vista's case is a bit different from pumpfun

pumpfun didn't have a native token, so it made sense to push narratives like "first dog" or "first cat" or even "first meme" on pumpfun as a proxy

with vista short term those might do well, but eventually the token that accrues the most value is the native token - $vista

conservative traders might also have a lower mental barrier in buying the launchpad's token as compared to the first (insert) meme due to utility and its deflationary nature

and even if vista memes do well, vista also benefits
we also have enough cats and dogs so the 999th iteration won't go well anymore even if its eth

instead of diluting animal coins continuously why not just focus on one and send it

a bad example would be how we absolutely fumbled it as a market with 5 different neiros instead of just sending one

that said, i think popcat really displayed its strength today in the market dump

i think undoubtedly its the cat coin of choice and will likely send up easily once the market recovers

i will add more if it dips again
👍3
a great sign of strength for a meme to me is the decoupling from its mother chain

doesn't apply to pico caps

if popcat can perform even when sol is down then i think there'll be fireworks

FED 50 BPS RATE CUT IN SEPT IS NOW PRICED AS MORE LIKELY THAN A 25 BPS CUT: SHORT-TERM U.S. INTEREST-RATE FUTURES

Quinn Thompson of Lekker Capital (Source) has elaborated more on this idea - with recession fears reaching a fever pitch and crypto sentiment washed out, I believe Bitcoin is an incredible value buy at these levels. Take note - asset selection matters ; most alts have all of the downside and none of the upside if Bitcoin rallies, and as such I’m only pitching a Bitcoin buy. I have been pretty bullish for a while, though - and so this is just a continued echo of my past position as a Bitcoin bull.

The market has 3 FOMC meetings before December:

Sept 17/18, Nov 6/7, and Dec 17/18.

Important events the Fed will be watching:

NFP this Friday
ISM data
CPI

Currently, the market expects a 25bps cut to start.

A month ago, there was a 75% chance of a 50bps cut in September.

A 25 basis point rate cut could signal the start of a standard rate-cutting cycle, potentially boosting BTC prices as recession fears ease. But Sept is Worse month for BTC/Stocks.
Buying September dips to build Q4 exposure has historically been a strong strategy.
