Although stamps are thought of primarily as payment for mail, they have also served as important representations of a society’s culture, history and values. Japanese stamps occasionally depict cherry blossoms, a unique phenomenon during their spring season; while Brazilian stamps often commemorate Iguazu Falls or the beaches of Rio De Janeiro. Over the years, blockchain has proven to be a truly revolutionary technology that will disrupt the status quo. The goal of Stamps is to memorialize the values and culture of blockchain, as well as imagine a decentralized future.

Our stamps were made by dozens of artists from around the world with styles varying from 3D, illustration, animation, pixel art, graffiti, etc. The initial launch consists of 360 designs, distributed into 20,000 packs of 5 stamps. The price will increase based on bonding curve for every 2500 packs sold. The distribution of the stamps is completely randomized and organized into 6 tiers with varying scarcity.

The tiers are:

Legendary
Super Rare
Rare
Uncommon
Common
Rug (for lulz)

Each pack comes with 5 stamps that are chosen randomly from these tiers. Legendary contains 20 designs, with only 2 editions of each design. On the opposite end, Rug contains 100 designs, with 400 copies of each. So even if one receives a Rug, there can only ever be 400 holders of a single design. We will continue to release limited drops in the future and continue imagining a future transformed by blockchain.
