New equipment that the Belarusian Armed Forces received April
According to our data, there were a number of new supplies of new military equipment and weapons to various units of the Belarusian Armed Forces in April 2024. We have information on the following supplies:
• 4 Mi-35M helicopters
4 new Mi-35M helicopters arrived at Machulishchy airfield from Russia on April 7. This is the second batch of helicopters of this type, which arrived from Russia. A total of 8 such helicopters are now in service with the 50th Combined Air Base of the Belarusian Air Force.
• New radio relay stations in the Belarusian Armed Forces
In April, another batch of the R-414MBRP Sosna-2 radio relay stations was delivered to the Belarusian Armed Forces. The exact number of stations delivered wasn’t announced. However, we note that the last time such stations were delivered to the Belarusian Armed Forces in November 2023.

Air defense units were redeployed to protect the Mazyr oil refinery: is it more important than the Belarusian NPP?
According to our information, on April 8-9, units of the Air Defense Forces of the Belarusian Armed Forces were redeployed to Yelsk district (Homiel region).
Were are talking about one battery (Tor-M2K and Osa-AKM SAM systems) of the 1146th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment (military unit 97106) and one battery (same equipment) of the 147th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment (military unit 96869). The units were deployed in Yelsk and in the vicinity of Palouki village, which is located 3 kilometers from the Mazyr oil refinery.
According to our information, the redeployment of air defense units to Yelsk district is related to covering the Mazyr oil refinery from potential UAV strikes. This was confirmed on April 12 by Lukashenka himself, who said that he had given the military the task to take the refinery under guard. It’s notable ...
