RT @ChristopherJM: NSA Mike Waltz was just asked about this at the White House press room. He suggested it was a logistical issue, saying “there has been a lag” in the process to get some arms to Ukraine.

So this is likely inaccurate.

RT @Tatarigami_UA: Le Monde published an article noscriptd "Without the US, Ukraine Would Barely Last Six Months Against Russia." My readers know that I have been consistently accurate in most of my frontline assessments, to the point that some call me a pessimist, so it's hard to accuse me of painting a rosy picture for Ukraine. That being said, the claim made in this article is completely incorrect and does not reflect the reality on the ground.
Since 2024, the vast majority of frontline losses are inflicted by drones, which are produced domestically using locally manufactured or imported components, often from countries like China. ISTAR capabilities are largely covered by short- and long-range reconnaissance drones. While I won’t publicly go into full detail about strengths and weaknesses, the bottom line is that U.S. military aid is important and highly beneficial, but it won't result in battlefield collapse.
As long as financial support...

RT @shashj: “ ending the conflict requires talking to the people involved in starting it and maintaining it.”
True.
But it does not require bending the knee to them. It does not require inviting them back to the G7 before anything has been agreed. It does not require pretending that they are not the aggressor & blocking G7 statements that speak the truth. It does not require falsely calling your wartime ally a “dictator”. It does not require extorting them to recoup the costs of past aid. It does not require cutting them out of talks. It does not require issuing barefaced lies about the value of US v European aid.
Beware false realists.

The minerals deal was first floated by Zelensky, so the idea that he doesn't want an agreement is just false. The Trump Admin needs to present a serious offer though. Ukraine won't hand over land rights in exchange for vague promises. If US firms want to be able to extract those resources then the US government needs to deliver meaningful security assistance to protect them from Russia, Iran & China. https://twitter.com/BarakRavid/status/1892654275186028838#m

RT @Teoyaomiquu: It's ironic to hear the argument that the U.S. held elections during World War II, so Ukraine should do the same.
The U.S. also forcibly placed its own citizens of Japanese descent into concentration camps during the war, stripping them of their rights and property without due process. Over 120,000 people, the majority of whom were U.S. citizens, were imprisoned in harsh conditions simply because of their ancestry. No evidence of espionage or sabotage was ever found to justify this mass internment.
Should Ukraine follow that example and build camps for those who might vote differently as well?
The hypocrisy is staggering.
