🇺🇸🇷🇺 This is a curious claim given that the US traded Russian criminal Alex Vinnik for American Marc Fogel.

Today the Kremlin said that additional prisoner swaps with the US are on the agenda.

The message to Russia & other hostile regimes seems clear: take Americans hostage and then negotiate prisoner swaps. https://twitter.com/GLNoronha/status/1892667028101861718#m

RT @deaidua: A few updates on Rheinmetall’s involvement in #Ukraine based on an interview of Rheinmetall CEO Papperger with DW 👇

→ Confirmation that the construction of the planned factory for the production of air defence systems in Ukraine has not yet started, as there are still no orders to date.

→ In the case of the Lynx IFV, decisions still have to be made as to where the IFVs will be deployed. In addition, there is still no funding, so there is still no production there either.

→ Production of 155mm shells by the newly constructed plant in Unterlüß (Germany) starts in April 2025. Deliveries to Ukraine will follow afterwards.

→ Logistical routes are currently being established for the already opened maintenance hub in Ukraine to ensure that sufficient spare parts find their way to the hub. After that, the repair/maintenance of not only Marder 1A3 IFVs which currently already takes place, but also Leopard 1 & 2 MBTs and PzH 2000 SPGs...

RT @donaldtusk: Enough talking, it’s time to act! 1. Let’s finance our aid for Ukraine from the Russian frozen assets. 2. Let’s strengthen air policing, the Baltic sentry and the EU borders with Russia. 3. Let’s swiftly adopt new fiscal rules to finance the EU security and defence. Now!

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA: $174 billion was not appropriate to Ukraine by the US. Actually, it was around $120 billion, and really closer to $100 billion when factoring in military and economic aid.

RT @D_Redis: It has always been this way: only the brave are respected, only the influential are listened to, and only the strong are considered important.

Since 1991, Ukraine's enemies have done everything in their power to make our country weak, fragmented, toothless, and dependent. In 2013, Ukraine began to awaken and build its muscles, finally recognizing the need to assert its agency. It would be naive to assume that building this agency would be painless, and expecting someone else to pave the way to this goal would be an even greater mistake.

For eleven years, we have relied on half-measures to fight a war against a country with an advantage in population and resources. Moreover, for three years, Ukraine has endured a full-scale invasion by one of the world’s most combat-effective military forces. The daily feats of Ukrainian soldiers should inspire us and prevent us from despairing despite any statements made by foreign politicians, analysts, and experts. The frontline should always have the last word.

Of course, we have not succeeded in every area, and much work remains ahead. Indeed, we put our trust in empty promises and gave away our nuclear weapons, critically weakening the country’s defensive capabilities. However, Ukraine has already achieved the impossible. Ukraine’s resistance to Russian occupation, the courage and strength of its military, our strong horizontal public relations, and our diplomats’ skills have already secured a place in history for our country. This is where the real Ukrainian agency comes from. And this is what vexes those who perceive a strong and independent Ukraine as a thorn in their side.

Nothing in today’s information environment should divert us from the path we have chosen. The same goes for those who eagerly began preparing for political games and illusory elections — under no circumstances should Ukrainians pay attention to them. All focus and strength must go to the frontline.

Desperation arises when circumstances force people to stop fighting for their cause. But that is not about us. We hold our lines, and we destroy the occupiers!

🇺🇸🇺🇦 @L3HarrisTech has broken ground on 4 new solid rocket motor production facilities at their Camden, AR site. The expansion is part of a $215.6 million Defense Production Act cooperative agreement signed with the DoD in 2023, which was funded by Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations.

"Construction in Camden will include a 60,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that will centralize production of a key program under one roof, cutting the distance motors travel during manufacturing by 80%. The expansion will also include a dedicated mixer building, as well as complementary propellant processing buildings to support increased motor production."

Camden operations will be focused on GMLRS. Under the agreement L3 is also building new facilities in Orange County, VA, which will be the new home for small SRM production for Stinger & Javelin.

@ColbyBadhwar @L3HarrisTech: APKWS is a kit produced by BAE for the Hydra 70mm unguided rocket. The Department of Defense still has vast quantities of Hydras in stock, which are provided to BAE as government furnished equipment so they can do the integration work. New Hydras are not in production for the DoD, though GD-OTS or other contractors could resume production if necessary.

Demand for APKWS is still pretty modest though, relative to facilitization. Lots of unused capacity.

BAE is on their own initiative working with a few different vendors to develop a new 70mm rocket motor that could extend APKWS' range. https://twitter.com/Misfit4Ukr68491/status/1892697009619898737#m

❗️ L3Harris currently produces over 100,000 SRMs of varying sizes at their Camden site. They say that this expansion will be capable of doubling their production capacity. https://twitter.com/ColbyBadhwar/status/1892695307504517307#m

RT @AlexMaisonDuCoq: The formula to revive classic Bond is simple

- Cast Cavill (obviously)
- Make it a 60s/70s period piece
- Film is 100% practical effects
- Devote silly budget to finding and casting a completely unknown but extremely hot brown haired actress from [european country]
- Allow Cavill to be a ruthless male chauvinist. Like really let him get in his Connery bag
- Source the score exclusively from Goldeneye 64 https://twitter.com/JeffBezos/status/1892590064766484622#m
