RT @deaidua: Updates on German Military Aid to #Ukraine → For the first time, we have received official figures on the number of IRIS-T (SL) missiles delivered. At 658 missiles, a bit more than I had expected. We have also received an update on the Patriot missiles delivered: 328 missiles!
There is also a brief update on the number of artillery shells promised for 2025. According to Major General Christian Freuding*, Germany will deliver 370,000 artillery shells to Ukraine this year. However, I assume that not only 155mm and 122mm artillery shells are meant, but also an unspecified number of 120mm mortar shells.
Freuding also provided us with a comparison of the material supplied. He describes that if one adds up all the German-supplied armoured combat vehicles, engineering vehicles and equipment, Germany would have equipped five Ukrainian mechanized brigades so far. 🇩🇪 Reuters: Rheinmetall to convert German factories to make defence equipment
Two plants, one in Berlin and one in Neuss, currently producing auto parts, will become hybrid plants and have some space taken over by the Weapons & Ammo division to produce components for military equipment.

🇺🇸🇳🇱 The Netherlands procuring Tomahawk is a prime example of a capability that is not on offer from any European vendor, and wouldn't be for many years, if ever. ~1000km range cruise missiles are an essential capability for European militaries to have.
