First in line is a junior sergeant.

77.🇷🇺810th Naval Infantry Bde POWs in Kursk.
Signed up 07 JAN. Had to assault a treeline. 10 men started under mortar, drone, small-arms fire.
He was WIA. Crawling back he saw many KIA + WIA. Sheltered in a trench where one WIA man shot another trying to join them. h/t @vmanulik
