What is the rationale for Trump to agree to Putin's terms, rather than demand that Putin agree to the terms that he came up with, and Ukraine agreed to? The United States has all the leverage in this equation, but Trump isn't using it.

🇺🇸🇦🇺 The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Australia of Countermeasures, Chaff, and Impulse Cartridges, plus associated equipment and services for an estimated cost of $165 million.
"The denoscription and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded."
