@ukraine_map @WarMonitor3: Russia isn’t look for peace, anyone who thinks Russia wants peace is delusional. They are looking for time and opportunities to ramp up their military, with more soldiers, more equipment, and more ammunition to reinsure Ukraine, likely Kyiv or Eastern Ukraine.
If Ukraine sees this as a threat, which they will, they will need a much larger military than they have now to defend it, or else they’ll lose significant parts of their country. Russia will say they broke the ceasefire, and invade, or regardless Russia will invade.

Ukraine wouldn’t be able to handle that in certain directions and the frontline will collapse. They can’t even handle 800k Russians, now imagine over 1 million Russians while Ukraine is capped.

“Pokrovsk is largely lost. Ukrainian positions still remain on the northern outskirts of the city; however, most of Pokrovsk is under the occupiers' control. The entire part of the settlement below the railway line that 'cuts' the city in half is, according to UP, held by the Russians. Information available to Ukrainska Pravda indicates that the line of contact runs almost along the northern edge of the city. The General Staff map for the Pokrovsk front is at least a month behind reality."

The revised peace plan includes a major concession from Ukraine: it has agreed to limit its armed forces to 800,000 troops, with final details to be settled directly between Trump and Zelensky.
