Growing the Naval Infantry brigades into divisions has been talked about since December 2022 or so. Yesterday, the 55th Guards Naval Infantry Division was officially re-established.
The 55th previously existed from 1968 to 2009.

We are indeed in a new phase of the Black Sea naval war.
There has yet to be a direct Russian reply to the latest string of Ukrainian attacks and what I'm mostly thinking about are new offensive-, not defensive, actions.
Going down that route is mostly a political question. https://twitter.com/denizcilikgm/status/1995740033488228618#m
