During the night of 6 December (from 18:00 on 5 December), Russia conducted a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure using attack UAVs and air-, sea-, and ground-launched missiles.
Air Force radar units detected and tracked 704 aerial threats:
51 missiles (including 17 ballistic) and 653 UAVs of various types.
Breakdown of detected targets:
•653 attack UAVs, including over 300 Shaheds;
•3 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal;
•34 cruise missiles (Kh-101/Iskander-K/Kalibr);
•14 ballistic missiles (Iskander-M/KN-23).
As of 10:00, preliminary results show 615 aerial targets shot down or suppressed:
•585 attack UAVs (Shahed, Geran, and others);
•29 cruise missiles (Kh-101/Iskander-K/Kalibr);
•1 ballistic missile (Iskander-M/KN-23).

RT @414magyarbirds: On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the commander of our 414th Brigade, “Klima”, was awarded the noscript Hero of Ukraine, and the 414th Brigade “Magyar’s Birds” received from the President the Battle Flag of the military unit – a symbol and sacred relic of the Warrior-Birds.
Without extra letters: Junior Lieutenant Andrii Klymenko (in civilian life – absolute Taekwon-Do ITF World Champion, coach at SC Sparta, Kyiv) took command of the 414th Brigade “Magyar’s Birds” in June 2025, having fought his way from a rifle battalion soldier of the Territorial Defense Forces to the commander of a drone battalion (2022–2025).
Over the past six months under Commander “Klima”, the Birds of the brigade have eliminated/neutralized 17,757 worms (11,350 KIA + 6,407 WIA) out of 48,432 enemy targets destroyed/neutralized by the unit.
Our gratitude to every Bird for the heroic fight.
