"It's important territory, our historical territory, absolutely. Russia was created in such a way that this was always part of Russia; there's no question about that. British Ministry of Defence informs about the death of a member of the UK Armed Forces in Ukraine on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the serviceman sustained injuries in an accident while "observing Ukrainian forces test a new defensive capability" away from the frontline, and later perished. https://twitter.com/DefenceHQ/status/1998439228162617452#m

🇷🇺🇨🇳 Russian Tupolev Tu-95MS and China's PLA Xian H-6K strategic bombers carried out a new joint flight over the Sea of Japan and South China Sea, as well as over the western part of the Pacific Ocean.
The flight lasted approximately 8 hours, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
At one point of the flight, the bombers can be seen being accompanied by an F-35 fighter jet (possibly from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force), sent to identify and escort the planes.

Russia's Syzran oil refinery has halted oil processing operations following Ukrainian drone attack early on December 5, two industry sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said the drones hit the plant's CDU-6 crude distillation unit, which is primary equipment that was also targeted by drones in August and required two weeks of repairs.
One of the sources said that the latest repair work could last for about a month.
