Renewed fighting in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo undercut Donald Trump’s recently announced "peace deal"

Just days after the Trump hosted the leaders of Rwanda and the DRC to celebrate what he described as a historic agreement, Rwanda-backed M23 forces launched a fresh offensive.

The United Nations reports that around 200,000 people have been displaced in recent days and at least 74 civilians killed as clashes intensified around the strategic town of Uvira.

It's absurd to think that Zelenskyy came on appeasement policies and was secretly threatening russia with military action and NATO.
