🇺🇸🇩🇰 Denmark's air defense shopping spree continues
The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Denmark of two IBCS equipped IFPC batteries, plus associated equipment and services, for an estimated cost of $3 billion.
Major defense equipment (valued at $1.5b) includes:
8 Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment 2 launchers
24 All Up Round Magazines (AUR-M)
2 Sentinel A4 radars
2 IBCS Engagement Operations Centers.
2 IBCS Integrated Collaborative Environments
6 IBCS Integrated Fire Control Network relays
1 AUR-M has 6 canisters; each launcher can mount 3 AUR-Ms, for a total magazine depth of 18 interceptors. Denmark already received approval for 340 AIM-9X Sidewinders last month.
The prime contractors would be @RTX_News, @LockheedMartin, @LeidosInc, and @northropgrumman.

The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Denmark of two IBCS equipped IFPC batteries, plus associated equipment and services, for an estimated cost of $3 billion.

🇺🇸🇧🇪 The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Belgium of 240 AGM-114R2 Hellfire missiles, plus associated equipment and services, for an estimated cost of $79 million.
Hellfire unit cost was ~$100,000 as of FY23 (likely higher now). The US Army ceased procurement in FY24, as their acquisition objective was met. FMS orders are keeping the production line hot at a minimum sustaining rate of 1200/year.
The prime contractor would be @LockheedMartin.
