I just wanted to let you know that we have made the hard decision to delay our launch of the CURE Chain token. When audit testing the contract, a minor optimization opportunity was discovered that we could have left in, but we want this contract to be perfect.

While this is incredibly frustrating for us and also yourselves, we as a team refuse to launch a contract that is anything less than perfect. We are addressing things as we speak and expect to have this resolved by tomorrow. At that point we will test the contract fully for 72 hours to ensure that it is flawless in all aspects.

With that in mind, our new launch date will be this coming Monday at 5PM EST.

I and the team deeply apologize for the delay - it’s the last thing we want. However, I am sure you all agree that it is better to take a few extra days to ensure we have a watertight and versatile contract, rather than rush and release just to make a date.

Thank you so much for your understanding, you are an incredible community. We cannot wait to launch CURE Chain and have you all with us on this exciting new chapter of the CURE ecosystem evolution!

Hey CURERS!

First of all I wanted to apologize for unforseen issue with the launch yesterday. It was frustrating and disappointing but unfortunately these things do happen as we move from staging to production, particularly with a complex contract.

We have some very good news but first I just wanted to provide an explanation of the contract and what happened at launch:

Our contract has a functions to generate marketing and development fees on “get fee on buy” and also “get fee on sell.” The logic behind this is that we would rather have the smallest impact on the chart when gathering taxes, so by selling, the collected taxes on a person’s buy has less negative impact than with CURE Token, for example.

We then launched on V3 uniswap with a very small set up for “sell and liquify,” where the minimum tokens was set at 25,000 before sell. This is how one person was able to buy in before the contract halted.

A lot of members reported that it was v3 and should have launched on v2, so we moved to v2 uniswap and relaunched. We then tested our on owner wallet and were able to successfully buy, so we proceeded. To our confusion no one else was able to buy, and we discovered that this was because it was the owner contract.

We then spent time testing everything over and upped “minimum tokens before sell” to 250,000, 10x what it was at. This then allowed 3 more buys to come through and we thought it was fixed…before it once again ceased trading.

In our constant efforts to get it working, we moved back onto the Ropsten Testnet Network and did a test run 1:1 comparison - it happened again. We changed a lot of functions and implemented a number of fixes and here is where we got to:

If “get fees on sell” is set to true then everything runs perfectly.

If “get fees on buy” is set to ‘true’ then once the taxes accumulate to the minimum before sell setting, the contract ceases trading. This is why the first person entered before 25k and then three other buys before 250k was accumulated.

This is where the error is. It isn’t a logical error, rather more of a robot emotional error. The solidity code for both “get fee on sell” and “get fee on buy” is the exact same except for the word “buy or sell”.

By the time all of this was traced and discovered it was 10:30pm CST (03:30am UTC) so to launch was not viable. Hence the delay until today.

That good news I spoke of is that it is all fixed and we are ready for launch at 2pm CST, 7PM UTC! 🚀🚀🚀

We thank you for your patience and understanding. Sometimes we strive to do something new and we succeed (like the dynamic tax function) and sometimes we don’t quite get it right, (like the get fee on buy function). But we are always being revolutionary and we are pushing ahead of the crowd and doing it differently.

That is what CURE Ecosystem is all about. 💙🧡
