I decided to share my personal experience as Nick Cware. For me, LinkedIn has long been more than just a social network. It’s a strategic tool that helps Web3 projects connect with investors and partners.
After 10 years of active work on the platform, I’m convinced that a personal brand is real capital – it generates dividends, opens doors, builds trust, and shapes reputation long before any discussion about the product begins.
Key metrics:
🔗 SSI (Social Selling Index) is LinkedIn’s internal metric that shows how effectively you’re building your personal brand and expanding your professional network.
The takeaway is simple: consistent activity and quality content directly influence the growth of your network and the number of new opportunities you attract. In Web3, your profile is your first pitch to an investor.

The more I work in Web3, the more one thing becomes painfully obvious: if you’re not using AI, you’re already slower than everyone else.
Everything here moves in hours. A trend appears in the morning and disappears by evening. AI doesn’t do the job for you, but it finally lets you keep up with this insane pace without drowning in FOMO.
So what’s actually happening right now?
1. Marketing got hit with the Fractional CMO wave – basically CMO-as-a-Service. One person now does the entire workload of a full marketing department. Not managing - actually building the strategy and executing it: fast, clean, no pointless calls. Sure, such people cost money, but their speed and efficiency beat whole teams. Ironically, hiring one killer specialist still ends up cheaper than maintaining an in-house marketing crew.
2. Founders are launching products at light speed. Last week we scored a project: a small Indian team built a product, MVP, first marketing loop and early metrics in 4 months with just $2k – and they’re already raising Pre-Seed. And the quality? Easily Tier-2 startup level.
3. Marketers and analysts don’t sit for weeks over one idea anymore. Now it’s simple: you take 5 hypotheses, test them immediately, see what hits, scale it. That’s it. Why overcomplicate when you can just move faster?
4. Hiring completely changed. No one cares about your fancy resume or degree anymore. The only thing that matters: how fast you work with tools that boost your speed 3-5×. If you do a task that used to take a week in a couple of hours – welcome to the team. If you don’t – you’re just slow and expensive.
What do I see inside Cware Labs?
We integrated AI into everything long ago: content, analytics, GTM, documents, research, leads. The speed jump is so insane that I genuinely don’t understand how we used to work before. Sometimes it feels like we were doing everything with stone tools in a cave.
AI doesn’t take people’s jobs. It takes the suffering – the endless tiny tasks that eat your time and attention. And it frees up space for what actually matters: strategy, growth, and clear decisions.
If you’re building a Web3 product, don’t postpone AI. In 2025 it’s not a nice-to-have, it’s the baseline.

In traditional venture capital, startup stages are clear and linear. In Web3, everything moves faster, operates more flexibly, and scales much more aggressively. A project can go from idea to TGE in a few months – or, on the contrary, spend years building a product before showing its first metrics.
To help founders, investors, and partners navigate this environment, the industry has gradually formed a simplified model of investment stages. It helps determine where a project currently stands, what risks it carries, and what the team is expected to deliver at each step of the journey.
Below is a brief overview of the key stages most Web3 projects go through:
So what insights can we take from this?
Web3 investment stages may seem chaotic, but the logic is simple: the further a project progresses, the higher the expectations – and the more costly every mistake becomes.
Teams must clearly understand their stage and operate based on market requirements rather than trends: metrics, product readiness, tokenomics, economics, marketing, partnerships, and TGE preparedness. Investors, in turn, must evaluate risks realistically and avoid confusing hype with real signs of growth.
