🔰#اپلای : زمان های مهم در فرآیند اپلای

به طور کلی دو تاریخ مهم در فرآیند اپلای وجود دارد. آخرین مهلت ارسال درخواست رسمی پذیرش و آخرین زمانی که باید امید داشت که در صورت اخذ پذیرش مطلع خواهید شد.

#ددلاین: اکثر دانشگاه های آمریکا اواخر دسامبر یا اوایل ژانویه سیستم آنلاین اپلای برای ترم پاییز سال بعد را غیر فعال می کنند.

آخرین زمان برای اخذ پذیرش : دانشگاه ها تقریباً تا اواخر آوریل تکلیف تمام درخواست ها (#پذیرش یا #ریجکت) را۵ روشن می کنند.

این دو تاریخ خیلی جاها صدق می کند اما بعضی دانشگاه ها اصطلاحاً دو دو ددلاین اولیه و ثانویه دارند. یکی آخر دسامبر و بعدی اوایل فوریه. یعنی اگر اولی را از دست دادید می تونید #مدارک تون رو برای مهلت دوم آماده کنید. اگر قبل از ددلاین اول اقدام به ارسال مدادک نمایید تکلیفتتن زودتر مشخص می شود ازین لحاظ برای گرفتن وقت #سفارت هم فاصله زمانی خوبی دارید و نیاز به تحمل استرس های کشنده نیست.

💠 بطور کلی دانشگاه‌ های آمریکا به دو گروه ایالتی #state_school و خصوصی #private_school تقسیم میشوند.

💠 دانشگاه های #ایالتی معمولا بسیار ارزانتر هستند اما ممکن است برای پذیرش دانشجویان خارجی #international_students محدودیت ظرفیت داشته باشند.

The diagram illustrates the steps involved in how aluminium drinks cans are recycled. Overall there are three stages in the process, from the cans being sorted and collected at the collection centre, to the melting down of the cans at the recycling plant forming new aluminium, to new cans being put back into drinks machines.

In the collection centre, drinks cans are put into a recycling bin and then separated into aluminium and steel. Following this, the sorted cans are transported to the recycling centre where they are crushed into cubes ready for melting down. Regarding the recycling process itself, the cubes of old aluminium are melted down at high temperatures and turned into bars of new aluminium.

As soon as the new aluminium bars are ready, they are then made into thin sheets and rolled up. Next, the rolled-up aluminium is used to make new drinks cans. Once the cans are formed, they are ready to be distributed to drinks machines where the process is repeated. (168 words)

Citizenship

Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada and foreign citizens are eligible to be nominated for a Vanier CGS.

To be considered for a Vanier CGS, you must:

be nominated by only one Canadian institution, which must have received a Vanier CGS quota;
be pursuing your first doctoral degree (including joint undergraduate/graduate research program such as: MD/PhD, DVM/PhD, JD/PhD - if it has a demonstrated and significant research component). Note that only the PhD portion of a combined degree is eligible for funding;
intend to pursue, in the summer semester or the academic year following the announcement of results, full-time doctoral (or a joint graduate program such as: MD/PhD, DVM/PhD, JD/PhD) studies and research at the nominating institution; Note that only the PhD portion of a combined degree is eligible for funding;
not have completed more than 20 months of doctoral studies as of May 1, 2020 (see calculating months of doctoral studies below);
have achieved a first-class average, as determined by your institution, in each of the last two years of full-time study or equivalent. Candidates are encouraged to contact the institution for its definition of a first-class average; and
must not hold, or have held, a doctoral-level scholarship or fellowship from CIHR, NSERC or SSHRC to undertake or complete a doctoral degree.
Eligibility of Degree Programs
Doctoral awards are tenable only in degree programs that have a significant research component. The research component must be a requirement for completion of the program, and is considered to be significant original, autonomous research that leads to the completion of a dissertation, major scholarly publication, performance, recital8 and/or exhibit that is merit reviewed at the institutional level. Clinically-oriented programs of study, including clinical psychology, are also eligible programs if they have a significant research component, as described above.

Note: ResearchNet will only allow the creation of one application per applicant. Applicants should only seek a nomination from the institution at which they want to study and are advised to discuss their decision with the nominating institution before they submit the application through ResearchNet.

1. How much has technology improved how we communicate with each other?

I'd say that technology has made communication faster and easier, but I don't think it has improved the quality of communication between people. I mean, it's so easy to send a text message or write a comment on social media these days, but maybe you could say that our conversations are quite superficial compared to the way people communicated in the past. For example, I remember writing long, detailed letters to friends and family members when I was younger, but I tend to just send quick messages from my phone nowadays.

2. Do you agree that there are still many more major technological innovations to be made?

Of course! People are working on all sorts of new technologies as we speak, and I'm sure that there will be technological advances and breakthroughs for as long as human societies exist. Personally, I'm fascinated to see what happens with self-driving cars and other types of artificial intelligence over the next few decades.

3. Could you suggest some reasons why some people are deciding to reduce their use of technology?

Yes, I think the main reasons are that people feel overwhelmed or that their use of technology is becoming unhealthy. Some people have realised that all the devices and applications that they use are making their lives more complicated and stressful than necessary. Others might see themselves becoming addicted to checking their phones, or wasting too much time on their social media pages. I try to limit my own use of my phone and laptop because I want to spend more of my time in the 'real world' than on the Internet.
