Оно и понятно — жесткие диски, SSD большой емкости и, конечно, ленточные накопители (в ряде случаев) захватили рынок хранения данных. Тем не менее, технология не умерла, и сейчас стало известно о том, что она продолжает развиваться.
Плюс ко всему, худо-бедно продолжаются исследования в плане хранения информации при помощи других материалов и систем. Давайте посмотрим, что сейчас известно об оптических дисках и есть ли здесь значимые достижения.
