Oh what interesting timing.

I know it can be incredibly confusing when you’re not used to deciphering legalese.

If it helps at all, here’s a mini breakdown of activity:

The initial appeal filed in Feb ‘23 was solely for the sanctions ordered against Trump and his attorneys by Judge Middlebrook on January 19, 2023.

However, motions were later made to consolidate several case numbers pertaining to the original Trump v. Clinton suit. This included sanction orders and also the order to dismiss (9/8/22). Trump’s team requested that the court consider if the outcome would change in light of new evidence, specifically the Durham Report.

This consolidation was granted in October ‘23.

All briefs were due by Sept ‘24.

◀️Nov. 18th, this month, for oral arguments in Birmingham, AL. ⬅️

Now we wait.
