Hassan Khawam, spokesperson for the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, stated that the government provides interest-free loans to the unemployed, with amounts reaching up to 50 million dinars, provided that there is a guarantor and employment for the beneficiaries.
According to Khawam, the loans will be given to those who are registered as unemployed in the database of the Labor and Vocational Training Department of the ministry.
Three-Tiered Loan Categories Based on Job Creation
The loans are categorized into three levels: 20 million dinars, 30 million dinars, and 50 million dinars.
Loan Conditions Tied to Job Creation and Repayment Terms
Based on the ministry's guidelines, the conditions for obtaining each of these loans are tied to the creation of job opportunities. 
To receive a loan of 20 million dinars, the applicant must employ one worker in the private sector and provide social security; to qualify for a 30 million dinar loan, they must employ two workers; and for a 50 million dinar loan, three workers.
The loans will be repaid annually and will accrue no interest.
