The last time we were at this level was when Lehman Brothers stock crashed in the market. The degree to which the entire yield curve is inverted is unprecedented in history. There are three big factors that will shape our economy going forward: all of our leading indicators point to the downside, the yield curve inversion, which measures recessions and depressions, is at historically low levels, and 70% of our market or consumers have spent their savings. We are at a crossroads, and the next three economic meetings will point us in a new direction. August 24th is the BRICS summit, where major financial changes will be announced, as well as the Jackson Hole workshop and the G20 meeting, which ends on September 10th. On September 11th, we will have new guidelines and policies to show us the way forward
