Object detection and segmentation in TensorFlow
(Детектирование и сегментирование объектов в TensorFlow )

TensorBox is a simple framework for training neural networks to detect objects in images. Training requires a json file (e.g. here) containing a list of images and the bounding boxes in each image. The basic model implements the simple and robust GoogLeNet-OverFeat algorithm. We additionally provide an implementation of the ReInspect algorithm, reproducing state-of-the-art detection results on the highly occluded TUD crossing and brainwash datasets.

Russia or Russ(AI)? An overview of Russian artificial intelligence and cognitive technologies scene

Позиция России по рейтингу участников Kaggle выглядит особенно перспективным, принимая во внимание относительно низкий уровень инновационности страны в целом. Кажется, что русские используют AI, несмотря ни на что.

Russia appears to be the only European alternative to the US and the UK among top5 Kaggle adopters . Russia’s position on Kaggle’s adopters rating looks especially promising by taking into account relatively low innovativeness level of the country in general, for example measured by Bloomberg Innovation Index. It seems that Russians fancy AI despite of all odds.
