To protect your peace of mind, you've got to let go of people who continuously mess with ur mind by getting angry & playing victim when they are confronted about their behavior. Its how theyve learned to survive. You have a big heart, but dont leak ur goodness. It's ok to let go.

EMPOWERING PEOPLE
“Choose to be in close proximity to people who are empowering, who appeal to your sense of connection to intention, who see the greatness in you, who feel connected to God, who live a life that gives evidence that Spirit has found celebration through them.”This sentiment is echoed throughout the wisdom of all the great teachers. From :- Rumi (see Notes): “Stay with friends who support you in these. Talk with them about sacred texts, and how you are doing, and how they are doing, and keep your practices together.” To Susan Jeffers :
in her great (!) book Feel the Fear… And Do it Anyway: “It is amazingly empowering to have the support of a strong, motivated, and inspirational group of people.” So… Who inspires you the most? How much time are you spending with them? Are you spending time with people who bring you down? Who don’t recognize your potential and see your greatness? What can you do to create more and more empowering relationships? Good. Time to do it! :)

7. Do Something for Others and Don’t Tell Anyone About It: Every act of kindness is wonderful. But not telling anyone ever about it is magical. Boasting smacks of ego and dilutes the +ve feeling.

8. Let Others Have Glory: Magical calm, and quiet inner confidence is your gain. Trying to gain attention is due to ego. It wants us to be seen, heard, respected, considered special.

9. Learn To Live In The Present Moment : Enjoy the present moment. You always have ONLY this moment for action, make the best of it.

When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person that walked in. That’s what the storm is all about.
Be brave. While that’s not the easiest word to live by, it’s so important. Be brave in your relationships, in every new experience you embark upon, and even in the things that seem like small things.

People are attracted to good listeners, and they complain that there aren’t that many of them around these days. People are also skilled at telling a real from a phony, meaning someone who is really listening or someone who is just pretending to be listening. The bottom line is, one of the skills we need to learn when we want to connect to someone on a deep level is to learn to listen to them empathetically. Empathic listening means we put all of our baggage, distraction, need to control and beliefs as to how things “should” be outside of the interaction and attend fully to the person we are listening to. In other words, it will be about them, not us.
