Why dont all demon slayers (or at least the weaker ones) use poison?

Like, wouldn't this make the job just "hit them once and ya win" type of situation? Why not use poison, its free extra damage to any demon. And its not like supply is the issue, the demon slayer corps has a whole forest worth of poison why not use some of it?
