I never realized that in node.js, http requests and responses are actually streams(extends stream class like file systems). The req is a readable stream and the res is a writable stream. That means you don’t have to wait for the whole request or response to finish, you can handle data chunk by chunk. Makes so much sense why Node is great for uploads, downloads, and real-time apps.

Starting a new project to dive deep into backend stuff like auth, GraphQL, API design, and real-time with subnoscription. It’s gonna be a full-stack chat app with React and some modern libs on the front, and Node.js + Express with GraphQL on the backend.

The only thing that keeps AI from advancing faster is computational power. The ratio between AI capacity per year and the rate at which we increase computational power still has a major gap. Once we surpass this limitation, AI will become unimaginably smart.
