Article of the day
Moving of of TypeScript!
For nearly five years now, Motion has operated in a large TypeScript monorepo. At its peak, it was roughly ~2.5 million lines of code after excluding comments, node_modules, etc. To manage this, we used Vercel’s rather excellent Turborepo build system.
This is not a blog post hating on TypeScript — quite the opposite!

Afterwards, we saw an immediate 33% drop in aggregated request latencies. But the exciting part was just beginning. Thanks to the Postgres ecosystem and tools like PGAnalyze, we fixed half a dozen unoptimized queries in just a few hours after the migration.
Despite being conservative and over provisioning our Postgres cluster, we still ended up saving the business a little over $110,000 a year.

Hey guys👋👋 Let me update you about the TechVibe Bot. It’s currently 80% complete, with a few remaining steps like deployment.
Here’s what the bot can do right now:
1. Automatic tag generation for every post (it has already generated tags for the previous posts 😎)
2. Tech news updates (not added to the channel yet because you deserve more than random news 😊)
3. Post selection and database integration – it can select posts and save them to the DB
4. Portfolio integration – some articles from my channel are already featured on my portfolio
5. AI assistance via Gemini – automatically corrects typos and provides context for my portfolio “About Me” section
6.Analytics – tracks my channel and sends messages for the most engaged posts.
7. Send errors directly to my Gmail and username
All of these features are fully functional now. I also plan to add some additional functionalities.
Currently, these features are exclusive to my channel, but I can update the bot to handle multiple channels if you guys need this bot.

Aricle of the day
The web is about to get better.
Developers will need to stop misusing <div>s and start writing semantic markup. They’ll have to test keyboard navigation and make sure screen readers can do more than guess. Designers will need to think about contrast, focus indicators, and interaction patterns that work for more than just perfect eyesight and fine motor control.
