Google just dropped a new tool
Today, we are introducing Google Antigravity, our new agentic development platform. While the core is a familiar AI-powered IDE experience with the best of Google’s models, Antigravity is evolving the IDE towards an agent-first future with browser control capabilities, asynchronous interaction patterns, and an agent-first product form factor that together, enable agents to autonomously plan and execute complex, end-to-end software tasks.

The issue was not caused, directly or indirectly, by a cyber attack or malicious activity of any kind.
Instead, it was triggered by a change to one of our database systems' permissions which caused the database to output multiple entries into a “feature file” used by our Bot Management system. That feature file, in turn, doubled in size. The larger-than-expected feature file was then propagated to all the machines that make up our network.

Frontend is over, doesn’t mean frontend is dead it means it evolved.
Old frontend was just HTML, CSS, and a bit of JavaScript.
Modern frontend is a full system:
* server actions
* data fetching & caching
* security & auth
* performance on the edge
* deployment & DevOps
* server + client rendering
Tools like Next.js, Remix, and RSC blurred the line between frontend and backend. Today’s frontend devs need to understand the whole experience, UI, data, server logic, and performance.
Frontend isn’t finished. The old version of it is.
Those who adapt will have more opportunities than ever.

Today i learned something really interesting from some research and honestly kinda humbling...
when you attach your identity to something like saying im a python dev or i only use rust your brain starts defending it automatically it treats any new idea or tool like a threat to who you are. so when you see another language doing something better your brain isn't just comparing tech its actually trying to protect your identity without you even noticing. and the funny part is the same part of your brain that should help you see the bias is the part that's being biased😂
It reminded me to stay open stay curious and not let who i think i am stop me from growing.
