You know Lorem Ipsum, right? That gibberish placeholder text everyone uses?
Well,
I built an alternative

A noscripture-based placeholder generator for VS Code.

VerseFill creates meaningful, Bible-inspired paragraphs with an specified word count — ideal for Christian developers, designers, or anyone working inside VS Code who wants to integrate faith into their workflow.

Whether you're a Christian programmer, a designer, or anyone who spends their day inside VS Code, VerseFill is a small way to integrate faith into our work — reminding us that God is present even in the details of our daily craft.

🔍 Available now on VS Code Marketplace
Just open your Extensions panel in VS Code and search for: Versefill

Or visit: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=EyuelNigussie.Versefill

Hello everyone 👋

We are conducting a short research survey to better understand customer experiences and preferences when interacting with local businesses and digital services.

It will only take 3–5 minutes, and your responses are completely anonymous. Your input would be highly valuable for our research.

Please take a moment to fill it out here:

Thank you for your time and support.

Let me tell you a story.

My friend was in Japan, and she told me how supportive the startup ecosystem is there. Then she shared this story:

There was a guy who lived in Ethiopia for a year or two for some reason, and while he was there he noticed something, malaria was basically like a pandemic at the time, across Africa as a whole. When he went back to Japan, he started a startup that collects air data using drones and then uses AI to analyze it. If it detects signs of malaria risk, it notifies people and the hospitals, and it also helps provide treatments and medicines.

Can you imagine starting a company to solve a problem in another country? She told me that a lot of startups try to solve problems for other countries, not their own 😳

Day 6 | n8n

Today, I self-hosted n8n locally using Docker, then built an automation that scrapes tech articles and sends them to my Telegram bot in a structured format with tags. I can also approve and post an article if I want.

Welcome to the Dorm 12
7 roommates, 7 disasters. 💀

⚽️ Arsenal fan – acts like they’ve already won every trophy this year… loves Arsenal like it’s life itself.
⚽️ United fan – the most United fan you’ll ever meet… loves United like death itself, constantly reminding everyone Arsenal won’t win.
⚽️ Liverpool fan – only shows up to celebrate Arsenal losing… secretly hates everyone else.

📚 The exam ghost – appears only before exams, disappears like a ninja the rest of the time.
🧹 The schedule dictator – made a cleaning plan… immediately ignored by everyone.
😎 The “chill” guy – secretly making love over the phone, looks innocent, and somehow gets away with everything.
💰 The life coach – has a girlfriend, makes money, lectures us like we asked for it.

Together: football wars, last-minute panic, ignored rules, secret chats, and endless chaos.

Guys, I’ve always been thinking about helping needy people around our campus, but for a long time I couldn’t do much. yesterday, when I received my first payment, I were able to give lunch to 50 people. I’m so grateful 😊

Day 9 – grammY

I’m building a Telegram bot right now, and grammY feels like a modern, TypeScript-first alternative to Telegraf. Type safety was a big requirement for telegram bots. I was thinking of building an error-handling library for Telegraf when I use Telegraf last time, but grammY’s error handling is already excellent. I’m genuinely glad it exist.

Article of the day

MTProto (Mobile Transport Protocol) is Telegram’s own network protocol. The thing Telegram clients use to talk to Telegram’s servers. It’s designed to be fast and efficient, with its own security layer. That’s a big reason Telegram uses relatively little bandwidth and still works well on slow or unstable connections. It’s also built to scale, which helps Telegram handle massive traffic smoothly.

go to @where_is_my_dc_bot and send a file that was uploaded with your own account. It will tell you the location of your user account. This is also the location of your bot.
