I have seen the poverty, the misery and the extravagant rich. I sympathize with the population, who are once again the victims of a war they did not ask for, the Israeli regime has attacked Lebanon so often that it is shameful for a country that calls itself a democracy, which of course it is not, it is a military police state, nothing more, that terrorizes people and kills innocent people!
After speaking in 2023 with representatives of many faiths and groups, it was clear Lebanese do not want war. They know what war is, the bloody civil war that lasted from 1975 to 1990 for about 15 years and then the various attacks from Israel and the de facto occupation by America and its Western proxies, who themselves influenced the political system. Also, the 2006, the destruction of Southern Lebanon by the Israel is not forgotten and now in 2024 Israel is doing it again, a bloody shame one would say!
In the last days we have seen a bloody attack from the Israeli regime with pagers, which injured thousands of Lebanese, not only Hezbollah members, but also ordinary citizens, who happened to be nearby, doing their shopping, the streets and markets in Beirut are very narrow, even several children were killed. As can be seen on social media, many Israelis are happy about this attack and express the most vulgar comments on social media. Of course, there are also Israelis who find it terrible, but Israel is currently a heavily radicalized country, settlers and religious terrorists are in power, who I compare to the Jihadists of Daesh.
