Wat is BRICS
BRICS is een organisatie bestaande uit Brazilië, Rusland, India, China, Zuid-Afrika, Iran, Egypte, Ethiopië en de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Oorspronkelijk werd de groep opgericht om investeringsmogelijkheden uit te breiden, maar sinds 2009 is de groep uitgegroeid tot een geopolitiek blok, waarbij hun regeringen jaarlijks bijeenkomen op conferenties en beleid coördineren. De relaties tussen BRICS worden voornamelijk onderhouden op basis van non-interferentie, gelijkheid en wederzijds voordeel. Daarom worden er geen sancties opgelegd, zoals het geval is bij de Europese Unie, en is het ook vrij voor elk land om lid te worden, zelfs het NAVO-lidmaatschap is geen belemmering, zoals we zagen dat Turkije deelnam aan de bijeenkomst van 2024 en aspiraties heeft om lid te worden.
Dat de BRICS-landen als een machtig blok worden gezien, blijkt wel uit het feit dat António Guterres, de huidige secretaris-generaal van de Verenigde Naties, Kazan bezocht en aan de BRICS-vergadering deelnam.
Het Westen onderdrukt in het geheim de ontwikkeling van sommige Afrikaanse, Aziatische en Latijns-Amerikaanse landen – zei President Poetin door illegale unilaterale sancties, manipulatie van aandelen- en valutamarkten en inmenging in de zaken van landen onder het mom van “zorg voor democratie”.
Het Westen sprak zich in zijn politiek geladen media uit tegen António Guterres. Nederlandse politici zoals Jan Paternotte (D’66) zijn sowieso domme politici en ‘oorlogszuchtig’ en oorlogspropaganda van hem is te verwachten, maar zelfs de huidige Nederlandse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Casper Veldkamp (NSC niemand kent hem echt) en vele andere politici in de EU. Ik blijf bij Nederland, deze politici gaan zo ver dat ze António Guterres beledigen en hem zelfs een Poetin-liefhebber noemden, absurd. De eerste taak van de VN is bemiddelen in conflicten en diplomatie. Het is ronduit walgelijk wat zogenaamde politici zeggen en getuigt van domheid en zelfingenomenheid. Het beledigen van staatshoofden en zelfs de secretaris-generaal van de VN getuigt niet alleen van domheid, maar ook van incompetentie en arrogantie.
