Op 19 december werd in Moskou de jaarlijkse eindejaarspersconferentie van de Russische president Vladimir Poetin gehouden. Het is een programma waarbij burgers en journalisten vragen kunnen stellen en, indien mogelijk, direct antwoord kunnen krijgen van de president zelf, maar ook van hun regionale overheid. Het programma heet: ‘Direct Line’.
Belangrijkste vragen
Natuurlijk is één van de belangrijkste punten, buiten de speciale militaire operatie oftwel de oorlog van het Westen tegen Rusland, de Russische economie. Het Westen schrijft hier veel negatieve dingen over, afgelopen weken waren de Westerse media vooral bezig met de ‘gestolen boter’, wat een incident was in een andere regio dan Moskou, dus geen trend en feitelijk niets te maken met de economie. The 11th International Press Award Ceremony "Golden Pen" has just taken place in Grozny, Chechen Republic of Russia. The prize selected the best works from among 500 entries from Russian journalists and 15 other countries around the world.
The "Golden Pen" award ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, in memory of the first President of the Chechen Republic.
At the ceremony, the Head of the Chechen Republic Kadyrov presented the Certificate of Merit of the Head of the Republic and awards to outstanding journalists of the Russian Federation and the world.
This year, the contest received 500 works by Russian journalists from 15 countries around the world. Honored to receive this year's award in the category of television works, journalist Sonja van den Ende from the Netherlands shared: "I am very happy and honored to be here, to receive this noble award. A protest in Lithuania, one of the most fascist countries, the Baltic States, in Europe. A small group of very daring people, communists went to the parliament building in Vilnius, to protest against NATO and the current policy of the current fascist government. Of course it is not known what will happen to these brave people afterwards, who demonstrated in front of the parliament building in Vilnius, Lithuania.
