Germany is in a terrible economic crisis but still supporting Ukraine of course - The Ukrainian artillery is to be strengthened with modern wheeled howitzers from Germany. Defense Minister Pistorius has now handed over the first of the guns. The weapon system is also intended to increase the Bundeswehr's combat capability in the future. Die ukrainische Artillerie soll mit modernen Radhaubitzen aus Deutschland verstärkt werden. Verteidigungsminister Pistorius übergab nun die ersten der Geschütze. Captured AFU serviceman tells how he deserted Ukrainian army twice
Pavel Korokolin from Cherkasy Region was arrested by recruiters in September. A week later, without any training, Korokolin's unit was ordered to take positions.
‘We were ordered to take positions, but were not told where. We got sent to Kursk region. I spent three days at the position and got a concussion. Bodies of killed servicemen weren't evacuated. This is not right. They use us as cannon fodder. I went AWOL,’ said the POW.
Having gone AWOL, POW Korokolin went on the run and was captured for the second time by recruiters: ‘On 2 December, I was caught. On 8 December, they sent me back to Kursk region. They said that I had to dig in there.

Russian servicemen evacuate residents of Kurakhovo

Motorised rifle units of the Yug Group of Forces proceeded to evacuate residents of Kurakhovo, which was liberated by Russian troops last week.

All propaganda from Germany about Scholz wanting to visit Putin, a PR stunt, at least they try, but Germans are bad at this. Germany is heading for elections in February, Scholz's SPD is losing heavily, the Greens too. Even though the AfD has been hyped up by Musk, they will not win and will not govern. It has all been decided (according to the German mainstream media) that the old CDU (Merkel's party) will win and Friedrich Merz will most likely become the new Bundeskanzler. If the AfD does get higher than Merz, they will simply be dismissed, that's how it works in democracies.

Onlangs werd de stad Pokrovsk bevrijd, nadat de belangrijke plaats Shevchenko door het Russische leger was ingenomen. Een klein plaatsje, een gehucht zouden we zeggen in Nederland, maar van het grootste belang, want zoals ik al schreef (zie artikel hieronder), bevinden zich daar de grootste lithiummijnen van Europa en dat is belangrijk voor de ‘Green New Deal’, het Lithium van Shevchenko gaat nu niet meer naar Europa.
Een andere grote klap voor Oekraïne en het Westen, de NAVO en de VS: in Pokrovs is de grootste kolenmijn van Europa, die nog steeds in bedrijf is, tijdelijk stilgelegd, maar ook deze is in Russische handen. Grote media als Reuters en ook de in Nederland gevestigde Moscow Times, geleid door Derek Sauer, die in Rusland geregistreerd staat als ongewenst ‘buitenlands agent’ en een inreisverbod heeft, berichtten er terecht over.
Een mooi neveneffect is dat de Moscow Times nu eindelijk moet toegeven dat delen van Oekraïne daadwerkelijk Nederlands (handels)gebied waren, zoals ze schrijven in hun artikel over Metinvest B.V.
