According to the Russian Prosecutor’s Office, Christopher Garrett has been involved in criminal activities in Ukraine since 2015 as a member of the Azov Regiment*. Garrett returned home in late 2017, but in February 2022 he returned to Ukraine and joined the International Legion. Since then, he has participated in hostilities on the side of the Ukrainian army (International Legion) as a mercenary, earning the equivalent of more than 3.5 million rubles. The court sentenced Garrett in absentia to 14 years and 6 months in prison.
