Die Gräueltaten, die sich an der syrischen Küste und anderswo abspielen, markieren eines der schrecklichsten sektiererischen Verbrechen der modernen Geschichte.
Nach erschütternden Zeugenaussagen aus dem ehemaligen Syrien müssen wir uns dem anhaltenden Massenmord an der alawitischen Gemeinschaft in den ländlichen Gebieten von Hama, Homs und der Küstenregion zwischen Latakia, Tartus, Baniyas und Jableh stellen. Dieser Artikel entlarvt, was die westlichen Nationen – insbesondere Europa – durch ihre Untätigkeit weiterhin zum Schweigen bringen, während sich ein weiterer Massenmord entfaltet, während Europa seinen Blick bewusst abwendet. Die moralische Bürde der Komplizenschaft Europas bei diesen Gräueltaten wird mit jedem Tag schwerer.
Die Wahrheit ist, dass Europa die destabilisierende Intervention der Türkei in Syrien aktiv unterstützt hat. Einem Bericht zufolge wurden dabei Zehntausende abgeschlachtet – konservative Schätzungen gehen von 20.000 Toten aus, obwohl die tatsächliche Zahl diese Zahl wahrscheinlich übersteigt. Tausende von Überlebenden sind in den Libanon geflohen, während Tausende weitere auf dem von Russland betriebenen Luftwaffenstützpunkt Khmeimim (auch bekannt als Hmeimim Air Base), einer syrischen Militäreinrichtung südöstlich der Stadt Latakia im Gouvernement Latakia, die jetzt unter russischer Kontrolle steht, prekäre Unterkünfte finden.

Atoun has been appointed as a member of the Supreme Fatwa Council in Syria. In other words, the terror regime will only get worse and thousands of Alawites and especially Christians will flee, now that a medieval regime, a caliphate, is in power.

Today is a holiday in the Arab Muslim (and beyond) countries and the Eit al-Fitr (end of Ramadan) is celebrated. The sad situation in the Levant does not give much reason to celebrate, also the schism again (or never went away) between the Sunnis and Shiites gives no reason for hope or celebration. The attacks on Gaza, Lebanon (today and yesterday) and the murders in Syria continue. It is sad, so I will not give congratulations, but hope for a unification of all parties and above all an end to the genocide, the murder and the hatred among the people in the Levant and beyond. A large part of the Middle East has been thrown back into the Middle Ages, while the Gulf countries have become immensely rich and are abandoning the Arab population in the Levant, they are not looking for a solution for Gaza, Palestine, Syria, or Lebanon. The Gulf countries, just like what happened in Europe, need a renaissance in the area of ​​faith, an Arab Martin Luther. Martin Luther was a German priest, theologian, author, hymnwriter, professor, and Augustinian friar. So if you meet these bench-dwelling grandmothers — greet them warmly and don’t snap at their remarks.
