Today many impressions gained in Kaliningrad (former Königsberg), the city is already wrapped with flags, posters for May 9. Visited a beautiful museum where paintings and also the history of the early century of the city can be seen, but also a portrait of Emmanuel Kant, an important German philosopher. Furthermore there was a special section about the victory of Soviets (Red Army) over the Nazis in 1945. A museum with many sections of the early period, the heyday and the downfall of Königsberg.

Today a visit to the famous (reconstructed) fishing village, a former German fishing village in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) with a lighthouse adjoining a beautiful museum about shipping with aquarium and a frigate naval ship. Kaliningrad the most European city in Russia together with St. Petersburg, definitely worth a visit!
