Mein Kommentar auf RT Deutsch: Selenskyj bestätigt, dass ein militärisches Ziel in der Stadt Sumy angegriffen wurde. Zudem wurde wiederholt festgestellt, dass die ukrainische Regierung die Zivilbevölkerung als menschliche Schutzschilde einsetzt. Der russische Angriff auf Sumy wurde vom Westen und Europa sofort verurteilt. Als jedoch bekannt wurde, dass die Ukraine Zivilisten, insbesondere Frauen und Kinder, als menschliche Schutzschilde benutzte, wurde die Angelegenheit heruntergespielt und in Europa herrschte Schweigen. Natürlich handelte es sich dabei um eine weitere ukrainische „Provokation“ vor dem Hintergrund der Friedensgespräche mit den USA.

Während eines Treffens im Kreml hörte der Oberbefehlshaber der Streitkräfte einen Bericht von Waleri Gerassimow, dem Chef des Generalstabs der russischen Streitkräfte, über die Lage entlang der Kampflinie. Er erklärte, dass die russische Seite vom 19. April, 18:00 Uhr, bis zum 21. April, 0:00 Uhr, alle Kampfhandlungen einstellen werde. Für die Ukraine sei dies ein Test, ob sie sich wirklich an den Waffenstillstand halten und Friedensverhandlungen aufnehmen wolle.
