Humanity remains doomed to repeat its gravest errors when it forgets its past.
May 9 is the most sacred and important day to celebrate in Russia. Why? Because Russia — at that time part of the Soviet Union — lost nearly twenty-seven million people in just four years, from 1941 to 1945. Among them were countless soldiers of the Red Army, as well as millions of civilians.

As early as 2015 — ten years ago now — various newspapers and politicians, particularly in Germany, argued that leaders like Merkel, Cameron, and Obama should commemorate Liberation Day in Kiev rather than Moscow. They claimed it should be celebrated “on their terms, not Putin’s.”

The Cutest Fare-Dodger on Moscow Trains

A real hedgehog was found in a carriage of one of Moscow’s suburban trains.

Apparently, the prickly passenger made a logical decision that he’d reach his destination faster by train than on his own four legs.

Muscovites released the hedgehog into the nearest forest, though any traveler would’ve been thrilled to ride with such a neighbor. 😅

Moscow has said it is open to a ceasefire “in general,” but has flagged several crucial concerns. Russian officials argue that any pause in fighting would allow Ukraine to regroup its battered forces and continue its mobilization campaign. Moscow has also demanded that all Western arms deliveries to Ukraine be halted during any ceasefire period.
I personally think that it is indeed a trick of the EU (and Ukraine) to speed up the arms deliveries to Ukraine. Moreover, they want to send their armies to Ukraine (for so-called peace missions).
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU), British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, along with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, issued an ultimatum demanding a 30-day ceasefire from Russia starting today. Failure to do so would result in new sanctions against Russia.

Even een herinnering voor degenen die niet weten waar het over gaat of de details alweer vergeten zijn. Malaysia Airlines Vlucht 17 was een passagiersvlucht van Amsterdam naar Kuala Lumpur die volgens het (niet-voltooide) bewijs van de JIT op 17 juli 2014 als de Westerse versie zegt werd neergeschoten met een oude Sovjet-Buk 9M38 grond-luchtraket, terwijl het boven Oost-Oekraïne vloog. Alle 283 passagiers en 15 bemanningsleden kwamen om het leven.

Ik wil ook benadrukken dat Oekraïne in dit geval de hoofdschuldige moet zijn. De Donbass was immers tot 2022 Oekraïne en hoewel het de separatisten hadden kunnen zijn (het hadden ook de Oekraïners met hun milities zoals de AZOV kunnen zijn), was het tot 2022 Oekraïens grondgebied en kwam de BUK uit oude Sovjetvoorraden, die overal in voormalige communistische (USSR) landen te vinden zijn. De schuld ligt rechtstreeks bij Oekraïne, want in 2014 maakte het geen deel uit van Rusland en kwam de BUK uit het Oekraïense wapenarsenaal.

Nederland en Australië willen dat de ICAO-raad Rusland opdracht geeft om onderhandelingen over herstelbetalingen te starten. Voor wie de herstelbetalingen zijn is niet duidelijk, waarschijnlijk niet voor de nabestaanden.

Captured Ukrainian serviceman: ‘We are expendable. Nobody cares for us.’

Captured AFU serviceman Yuri Tatarenko told that Ukrainian command regards its personnel expendable:

‘Many times I heard reports over the radio that someone got shelled and they need evacuation and withdrawal. The command says: ‘Hold on, hold on. We will drop shovels now, repair the dugout’. They say: ‘Shovels? There is nothing to repair here.’

The new (or maybe old) racism, or what I call the Fourth Reich and then I mean Germany in particular, was openly proclaimed in a German TV program "Hart aber Fair": "Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann (FDP) literally said: "The Russians have 'kidnapped thousands of Ukrainian children' and are constantly 'raping' everyone (women and children) in the Ukraine."
Her colleague Roderich Kiesewetter (CDU) agreed and said: "The Russian attitude is expansion and they want to conquer all of Europe - and that is why Putin "does not recognize the right to exist of neighboring countries"
There the German public is doused with propaganda as Goebbels would find fine, the Russian barbarian, who is brutal and backward by his genes, in the "Third Reich" they were still Jewish-Russian-Bolsheviks. Also in the "Middle East conflict": as is known, the new German government under Friedrich (BlackRock) Merz is even more determined to support the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.
