Ik, en hopelijk ook veel “normale” burgers, heb ’tenenkrommend’ gekeken naar het schouwspel bij de Verenigde Naties (VN) waar zogenaamde politici het moeten hebben over wereldvrede en stabiliteit. Net als jullie misschien kon ik het soms niet meer aanzien wat een toestand het is, maar juist deze situatie weerspiegelt de staat van de wereld: complete waanzin! Dodelijk waanzin zou ik het misschien liever moeten noemen!

Daar hebben we Annalena Baerbock, de voormalige Duitse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, die geen twee zinnen in haar moedertaal Duits kan uitspreken, laat staan ​​in het Engels. Ze heeft haar opleiding vervalst, wat uitgebreid in de Duitse media was, een tijd geleden. Met wie of wat (sorry voor mijn botte opmerking) heeft ze seks gehad om in deze positie te komen? Ik kan het niet anders uitleggen, want ze heeft absoluut geen verstand van buitenlandse zaken of diplomatie. Haar speechschrijvers proberen nog de boel te redden, en zonder een stukje papier waar voor haar heel moeilijke woorden op staan komt er niets zinnigs uit!

Ten slotte komen we bij Rusland en Oekraïne. Natuurlijk waren de verwachtingen over Trump hooggespannen (althans bij veel burgers en met name jongeren en VS -gekkies). Persoonlijk ik niet, maar na vele jaren in de journalistiek, oorlogen hebben te gezien, en deel genomen aan de Nederlandse politiek, weet ik hoe verdorven het Westen is en hoeveel leugens er worden verspreid dat ik bijna nergens meer in geloof. Treurig natuurlijk maar je ziet het terug in het leugenspel bij de VN of zelfs in de diplomatie, of wat er van over is.

Voor velen kwam het als een donderslag bij heldere hemel. Trump is nu pro-Oekraïne, lees je in alle media, zelfs in Rusland. Ja, maar wacht, hij was nooit pro-Rusland. Het enige waar Trump echt in geïnteresseerd is, is zichzelf en deals. Dus zegt hij gewoon iets, de ene dag dit, de andere dag dat. In Nederland zeggen we: “hoe de wind waait, waait mijn jas .” Dat is precies wat er gebeurde na zijn privégesprekken-onderonsjes met de snuivende Zelensky, Macron en andere onbeminde westerse politieke sterren.
