De Russisch-Oekraiense oorlog gaat gepaard met een harde propagandaoorlog in de media. De Westerse media selecteren en kleuren hun onderwerpen ten gunste van de Oekraiense en westerse zijde. Tegeninformatie is schaars en wordt verdacht gemaakt. Kritische journalisten worden doodgezwegen of zelfs gedemoniseerd. Tijd voor het tegengeluid. Tijd om te gaan luisteren naar de andere kant van het gelijk.

Van den Ende reisde de afgelopen 3,5 jaar zeker tienmaal met naar de nieuwe Russische regio’s in de Donbas. Ze bezocht Donetsk, Loegansk, Zaporizje en Cherson Ze was in Marioepol, Melitopol en in steden op de Krim.
Hoe gaat het daar nu? Zien de mensen in de Donbas de Russen als bezetters of als bevrijders? Hoe gaat het leven in Rusland zelf? Wat berichten de media over de oorlog? Wat denken de Russen? We gaan luisteren naar de andere kant van het verhaal.

Ik, en hopelijk ook veel “normale” burgers, heb ’tenenkrommend’ gekeken naar het schouwspel bij de Verenigde Naties (VN) waar zogenaamde politici het moeten hebben over wereldvrede en stabiliteit. Net als jullie misschien kon ik het soms niet meer aanzien wat een toestand het is, maar juist deze situatie weerspiegelt de staat van de wereld: complete waanzin! Dodelijk waanzin zou ik het misschien liever moeten noemen!

Daar hebben we Annalena Baerbock, de voormalige Duitse minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, die geen twee zinnen in haar moedertaal Duits kan uitspreken, laat staan ​​in het Engels. Ze heeft haar opleiding vervalst, wat uitgebreid in de Duitse media was, een tijd geleden. Met wie of wat (sorry voor mijn botte opmerking) heeft ze seks gehad om in deze positie te komen? Ik kan het niet anders uitleggen, want ze heeft absoluut geen verstand van buitenlandse zaken of diplomatie. Haar speechschrijvers proberen nog de boel te redden, en zonder een stukje papier waar voor haar heel moeilijke woorden op staan komt er niets zinnigs uit!

Ten slotte komen we bij Rusland en Oekraïne. Natuurlijk waren de verwachtingen over Trump hooggespannen (althans bij veel burgers en met name jongeren en VS -gekkies). Persoonlijk ik niet, maar na vele jaren in de journalistiek, oorlogen hebben te gezien, en deel genomen aan de Nederlandse politiek, weet ik hoe verdorven het Westen is en hoeveel leugens er worden verspreid dat ik bijna nergens meer in geloof. Treurig natuurlijk maar je ziet het terug in het leugenspel bij de VN of zelfs in de diplomatie, of wat er van over is.

Voor velen kwam het als een donderslag bij heldere hemel. Trump is nu pro-Oekraïne, lees je in alle media, zelfs in Rusland. Ja, maar wacht, hij was nooit pro-Rusland. Het enige waar Trump echt in geïnteresseerd is, is zichzelf en deals. Dus zegt hij gewoon iets, de ene dag dit, de andere dag dat. In Nederland zeggen we: “hoe de wind waait, waait mijn jas .” Dat is precies wat er gebeurde na zijn privégesprekken-onderonsjes met de snuivende Zelensky, Macron en andere onbeminde westerse politieke sterren.

Participants from various countries were present today at the VDNkH in Moscow, but personally, I think Raphael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, is the most important guest. Some time ago, I worked in Seibersdorf and Vienna, the headquarters of the IAEA, in an administrative role as secretary, translator, and press officer. I realized then that this organization was important for the safety of nuclear programs. Unfortunately, the IAEA neglected this role and, like the UN, was hijacked by Western countries, thus hampering oversight. This must be rectified. If the US and Israel possess these weapons, other countries in the world are ennoscriptd to them as well. Israel is one of the few countries (along with a few others) that has not signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). It's an international agreement from 1968 to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons, promote nuclear disarmament, and encourage the peaceful use of nuclear energy, and therefore no one knows what kind of nuclear weapons they possess. All of this needs to change. To be a fair and just organization, and a safer world everyone should sign the NPT.

Liberated area's in the Donbass according to the Russian Ministry of Defence...
From 1 January to 25 September 2025, the groups of forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have liberated more than 4,714 square kilometres. The following areas have been liberated:

▫️ more than 3,308 sq km in the Donetsk People's Republic,
▫️ over 205 sq km in the Lugansk People's Republic,
▫️ more than 542 sq km in Kharkov region,
▫️ over 261 sq km in Zaporozhye region,
▫️ more than 223 sq km in Sumy region,
▫️ over 175 sq km in Dnepropetrovsk region

205 settlements located in the zone of the special military operation have been liberated and taken under control by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
